ASTHO Capacity Building Opportunity: Foundational Capabilities Request for Applications
The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), through the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG), is currently accepting applications for participation in a capacity building and technical assistance opportunity that is designed to help direct PHIG recipients strengthen their administrative and organizational infrastructure by providing an external, evidence informed assessment of key foundational capabilities. This opportunity is open to applicants from direct PHIG awardees at the state-, big city-, and county-level.

Implementing Pharmacist Prescribed Contraception: An ASTHO Learning Community
ASTHO is currently accepting applications to join the established Implementing Pharmacist-Prescribed Contraception Learning Community (“IPPC LC” or “Learning Community”). The IPPC LC provides state and territorial health agencies (S/THAs) with the technical assistance needed to develop sustainable strategies for implementation of pharmacist-prescribed contraception (PPC) programs, including building workforce capacity, exploring sustainable reimbursement pathways, and developing patient awareness campaigns to improve access to contraception.
